+- Native extensions (18 .so) link the app-lock librimi.so and the stock
+  Android libc; no system expat/wcslib/cfitsio is used -- the upstream
+  bundled cextern sources (wcslib 8.6, cfitsio subset, expat) are compiled
+  in, so the FULL default feature set works out of the box.
+- Optional upstream extras (scipy, matplotlib, pandas, h5py, ...) are NOT
+  required. Features that import them raise ImportError only when used.
+- No network is needed for the tested features. Downloads (IERS tables,
+  remote data) follow normal astropy behaviour when online.
+- Console scripts (fitsinfo, fitsheader, showtable, ...) are declared in
